Matthieu Gouley (Matt) was born in the Normandy region of France into a family and community of career contractors, builders, and developers. Fascinated by construction and architecture since his youth, Matt spent most of his free time on construction sites learning diverse skills and receiving an invaluable hands-on education over many years.
In some of the best French construction colleges, Matt obtained apprentice degrees in craftsmanship, theoretical design, and architectural concepts for a well-rounded construction education. After arriving in California in 2015, he not only became a licensed and bonded U.S. contractor, but also obtained an additional degree in U.S. Construction and Building Code.
Matt founded French Touch Construction to bring technologically advanced, high-end concepts to the San Francisco Bay Area. He assembles a highly-skilled group of artisans to construct projects of unlimited complexity and scale.
